Intensive Mandarin

Course Hong Kong

Mandarin Chinese is vastly becoming one of the most spoken languages in the world, especially in Asia, as the Chinese language is used for doing businesses not only in China, but also in places such as Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Mongolia and Brunei.

Many people are afraid that Mandarin Chinese would be difficult to learn, but we can tell you that Mandarin Chinese is actually much easier to learn than many of the European languages, because the Chinese language does not have plurals, nor tenses, nor conjugation, nor conditional sentences, and its numbering system is the simplest.

Those who see the benefits of learning Chinese are now quickly studying Mandarin Chinese as a second language to equip themselves.

Here are the reasons why you should learn Mandarin Chinese:

  1. When travelling to Asian countries, knowing Chinese will make getting around places much easier, and to avoid getting lost in translation when communicating with the locals.

  2. While learning the language, you are also learning the Chinese culture, one of the world’s richest and most ancient civilisations.

  3. With the Chinese economy rapidly growing, knowing Chinese will open up more business opportunities for you in China, as well as in other Asian countries that are familiar with the language.

  4. It offers more job opportunities if you wish to build your career in Asia, especially in law, science and technology, finance, tourism, translation and teaching.

  5. Learning a second language helps develop and further personal growth.

  6. Learning Chinese utilises the brain areas that other languages do not (while English speakers only use the left temporal lobe, whereas Mandarin speakers are required to use both).

Many non-Chinese speakers choose Hong Kong as their preferred destination to study Mandarin Chinese because Chinese is one of the official languages used in Hong Kong and this vibrant city is where the East meets West. Also, travelling to Mainland China from Hong Kong is just a quick train ride away.

There may be many Mandarin courses in Hong Kong but most of the Mandarin Courses in HK are not recognised by the Hong Kong Government Education Bureau, so it makes it impossible for you to apply for a Hong Kong Student Visa. Without this visa, you will not be able to legally live and study in Hong Kong.

Boötes Consulting Services Limited offers an Intensive Mandarin Course (a premium Mandarin course in Hong Kong that is officially accredited by the Hong Kong Government Education Bureau) to overseas adult students wishing to study on a full-time basis in Hong Kong. A successful enrolment to our course will come with the Hong Kong Student Visa, which allows overseas students to live and study in Hong Kong, for the duration of our course.
