  1. Extended Validity Period: Permanent and Non-permanent Hong Kong residents holding foreign passports can now obtain multiple-entry visas for mainland China valid for up to five years, increased from the previous two-year limit.

  2. Longer Stay Duration: Visa holders can stay in mainland China for up to 180 days per visit.

  3. Broader Eligibility: The visa covers travel for business, tourism, family visits, and cultural and academic exchanges.

  4. Simplified Application Process: Applicants are exempt from submitting round-trip transport tickets and hotel reservations.

  5. Priority Processing: Employees of companies registered in Hong Kong will receive priority in visa application processing.
